I am amazed at how the tattoo has healed, too. I got it in the middle of the year and after a few months it randomly flared up with a rash but I left it alone and it subsided.
Yeah it’s pretty crazy. Also all this tattoo talk reminds me that I really need to get around to getting my tattoo touched up! I got it back in 2007 on the back of my neck and it’s very much not as sharp as it was. 😬
There’s definitely more of a sense of community so I can understand that “genuine” feeling you’re talking about. It definitely has the vibe of early Twitter where I feel safer sharing more personal things without feeling the need to delicately censor stuff. 😅
Totally, I remember early Twitter as well and that’s a good way of putting it (and makes me sad comparing it to then and then now, haha).
